Credit Card Processor Policy & Rates

Switching credit card processors can be a difficult task depending on the parties involved. We have
created this to provide a one stop area for you and your processing partner to get all the information
they should need. We strongly recommend that you first look at one of our preferred partners.
These partners will reduce any upfront costs and have a great relationship with our support
department and our company in general.
Information for your credit card processor is later in this document.

Credit Card Processing Switch Fee:
SelbySoft charges a one time fee of $200 to switch credit card processors.  This must be paid before the
switch takes place and is non-refundable.  This fee helps cover the time and costs our support department
incurs during the process.  Most processors will either reimburse this amount or pay it outright.
This fee is waived for our preferred processing partners.
Current Datacap Stand Alone Users: If you are using a 'stand alone' version of the Datacap NetEPay
software or a processing partner that is directly integrated,  you will need to upgrade to the rental
version as part of the credit card switch.  The rental fees are listed below for the Datacap NetEPay software.
The rental version will include updates and ensure you are on the latest PCI compliant credit card software.
Your current version will not work when making any changes to your credit card processing.
Datacap Rental Fees:
  1. One time setup fee of $150.
  2. Monthly fee of $25 for the main POS station.
  3. Additional stations are $15 / month per station.
Note:  Some processors may supply this software as part of their processing contract with you.  All updates
and support on the Datacap system would be handled through the processing partner. The $150 setup fee
would still apply unless that processor is on our preferred list. .

Current Datacap Rental Users:  The Datacap rental software allows you to change processors with very few
additional fees.  There would be a one time $200 charge for the switch.  This must be paid before the switch
takes place and is non-refundable.  This fee helps cover the time and costs our support department incurs
during the process.  Most processors will either reimburse this amount or pay it outright.  This fee is waived
for our preferred processing partners.

EMV Terminals:  SelbySoft can supply the EMV chip terminal for many of the processor setups out there
(rates below). If your processor has to supply the terminals, there is a setup fee to finalize the
programming and installation of those units.

EMV Fees:
  1. Units purchased through SelbySoft are $300 per terminal for most models
See SelbySoft for current pricing) .
  2. Units purchased outside of SelbySoft will have a $100 per terminal fee.
These units must be compatible with both your processor and Datacap NetEpay,
They also must be encrypted and programmed before they can be used.

Processor Specific Instructions:
Non-EMV Setup:  SelbySoft will need a setup sheet for the appropriate platform.  Please realize that
EMV is the only supported PCI solution that SelbySoft offers.  The merchant will not be PCI compliant
if they choose this route. SelbySoft will require the information that Datacap asks for.  That will
include some First Data platforms to have a Datawire ID that is self-provisioning.  Datacap also has
specific instructions on the size and number of characters certain fields will have (Merchant ID,
Terminal ID for example).  These can vary depending on the platform.
